This cozy-yet-spacious rooftop venue in downtown Chicago includes oversized windows with a private outdoor terrace with a breathtaking view of the fabulous architecture Chicago has to offer. The venue promotes a blend of vintage warmth with Venetian plaster, exposed brick walls, and two marble slab bars the brings a modern, updated feel to an old industrial loft space we’re oh-so-familiar with here in Chicago.
Venue Details
This expansive 4,000-foot venue can seat 120 guests with for a formal seated dinner or, 160 guests for a cocktail-style reception for indoor ceremonies. Indoor and outdoor ceremonies and receptions are available as weather allows, which is such a high highlight of Loft Lucia! Space is hard to come by in Chicago, and a giant terrace for ceremonies, cocktail hour, or even dinner is the best thing about the venue!
Amenities include 120 high-end chairs, 12 high top chairs, 12 cocktail-style high tops, fourteen 6’ farm tables, two 4.5’ farm tables, and twelve 66” round tables for guest use, and is included in pricing. Other amenities include a clean-up crew before and after your event, a team to help you set up, a state-of-the-art sound system and projector, a commercial-grade kitchen, and two indoor bars to ensure a flawless and upscale experience for you and your guests. What’s better than knowing everything is already taken care of for you on your wedding day? (Imo, that’s priceless! and Loft Lucia does it right.)
This venue does have a preferred vendors list, but outside catering is acceptable for an added fee. Outdoor vendors must also be approved by Loft Lucia. Any vendor used that is not on the preferred list will be required to have insurance.
Loft Lucia is a BYOB venue but they do work with Prestige in Westmont who can provide beverages. This company will drop off products for the event and will reimburse for any products that are unused. Win win! You don’t have to worry about running out of bevvies for the guests, or having extra expenses and way too much leftover alcohol.
Loft Lucia does not include a private area to dress on-site or a bridal suite.

On-season pricing for May-October 2023:

All rates include the rental of the venue’s large inventory of high-end furniture and an array of interior décor items, such as tealights, metallic votives, lanterns, plants and other decorative pieces to make the space feel complete.
Amenities available but not included in the price are 16 wireless up-lights, which have a rental fee of $300.00, and two wireless mics. An 8×6 boxwood wall can also be installed for an additional $700.00.
Security is included in the rental rate.
Parking and Security
Loft Lucia does not have a designated parking area. It is suggested to use a parking structure on the corner of Washington and Carpenter that is nearby.
Security is available and a security staff member and a venue manager will be on-site during the event.
