Struggling to find the words to describe just how amazing Alana and Olivia were during our engagement photo shoot and wedding! From the moment we spoke with Alana over the phone we were put at ease. I've been sitting here trying to put into words what working with Alana meant to me and my now-husband. From the first email, to the first call, to the day-of, to now, she has been the best photographer we could have imagined. We wanted a unique day, with tons of colors and textures and fun and laughter, a day that really reflected us as a couple instead of only current wedding industry trends. Besides everyone's normal worries on the big day, I was concerned that our "uniqueness" wouldn't read well on camera or would just look goofy or hoaky. She absolutely nailed it. She put us both at ease in front of the camera to the point where I wish I'd been slightly more cognizant that a camera *was* there! She gave great advice and was super communicative during the planning process. Now, the photos. THE PHOTOS Y'ALL. Between our engagement session and the wedding, I honestly can't narrow down my faves below, like, 400 photos. The color! The personality! The feelings! I found myself saying, "Oh that's a good one," out loud about nearly every photo. We've shown them to everyone who will sit still long enough to look, and I can't wait to get these printed and up on our walls! It really is like reliving the day all over again; we got emotional just looking at the pics again. She'll deliver 100-fold.

Alana did our engagement photos, our small family wedding pictures and our destination wedding in Cancún, Mexico. She takes absolutely beautiful pictures and her editing style is so colorful and makes every event look so bright and happy! I can only say positive things about her and about our experience! How do I even begin to wrap up all that Alana is within a single Google review!?!? Alana has been nothing but absolutely PHENOMENAL throughout our whole professional relationship. We hired her as our wedding photographer after being social media friends since our engagement (a little over a year) and I tell her and everyone else all the time that we really could not have picked a better person to do the job. We got to see how she worked at our engagement photos and from that moment on, I had no worries about how things were going to turn out. If you also choose Alana to shoot your event, you will not be disappointed and every expectation will be blown out of the galaxy. Alana was informative, helpful, and offered several bits of advice during my whole planning timeline. Her system for payment was very easy to use and understand, her contract laid everything out and her business processing was the epitome of professional yet personable.
Now onto the photos!!! I myself am easy to get going when looking at photos, but when I tell you that Alana captured emotions within her photos, I sincerely mean it! She did not just capture moments or memories, she captured every emotion that myself and our family/friends/guests were feeling. I have cried, laughed, and cried some more every time I go to look at the photos she delivered.

My fiancé and I are professional musicians, and he's an actor and I'm a model -- so we've met our fair share of photographers throughout the years.
But we've got to say...Alana is unbeatable for natural, vibrant, joyous, jaw-droppingly beautiful results. We worked with her back in 2017 when we all first moved to Chicago, and the images were insanely gorgeous even back then -- so impressive, in fact, that Koray had the idea on the spot to hire Alana for when he would propose...which he DID this month by planning a surprise proposal shoot -- Alana was not only the perfect accomplice in carrying out the surprise in its entirety, but the resultant shots are RIDICULOUSLY beautiful! She really went above and beyond, and gave us SO many incredible images along with a video of the entire proposal. Because of her, we have these stunning shots to always remember the moment by...and we'll definitely cherish them forever. I can't even imagine having that kind of pressure to capture totally candid moments in beautiful ways, but Alana can definitely do that with ease.
