Chic Black and White Fall Wedding in the Chicago Suburbs

This was one of my favorite weddings all year! Gabby and Ross are the sweetest people, and their wedding day was thought out so carefully. It was full of chic black-and-white details, including a wedding invite suite to die for, the fluffiest florals, and just the right amount of jewelry to complete the look. Plus there’s something do good about a fall wedding in Chicago when the trees are turning and the air smells soooo good.

It’s always a fun challenge to style the details in the morning, and it’s where my creative juices really get flowing–but working with a black and white color palette added an extra challenge of creativity when I can’t rely on color to make the photos pop. I loved how these photos turned out and how they set the tone for the day ahead.

Gabby and Ross celebrated alongside their families and friends coming from as far as Wales! Chicago couldn’t have given us better fall weather full of warm sunshine and crisp, cool air. The day was sprinkled with so many meaningful moments and well thought-out decor, plus enough time in between it all for a little hotel-room karaoke.

After getting ready at The Drake, we headed to their church ceremony.

After an energetic grand exit at the church, we headed to Park Ridge City Hall for wedding party photos. I loved the mix of brick with bright white background, and we had the BEST sunlight.

Pickwick Theater even added Gabby and Ross’s names to their marquee which was such a fun touch.

After we wrapped up the most perfect fall wedding party photos, we all headed back to The Drake for an outfit change for Ross then more photos outside.
