Noah and Joelle’s proposal at Lakeshore East Park was the most emotional proposal I’ve had in a while…and Joelle’s friend Kendall was there to see it all go down and even call it: “she’s going to cry” she said about 10 seconds before Joelle walked into the park and started crying. It was so sweet!
These two went to college with Kendall and her boyfriend, so after a few years of dating and all being good friends, it was extra special for Kendall to be there next to me and watch the actual moment.
Lakeshore East Park was green and lush and we found a little bit of shade for some post-proposal moments with these two, but not before Joelle snuck in some screams and hugs and a few long glances at the ring haha! I mean, can you blame her??
Then we made our way over the Avli on the Park for a beautiful engagement party on the rooftop–nothing beats Chicago summers!!! So many friends and family members were there to cheer for these two as soon as they walked in and it had me crying a little bit too. How cool is it to have all your favorite people in one place on such an exciting day!!!
We grabbed a few more photos at the Avli rooftop before I headed out and let these people party and enjoy the Chicago summer sunshine.
